Interesting that the app has like a built in template for HOTG.
I will have to check it out when i have access to a Winders
    machine.

Do a search for APRS Thursday.

What does the -G mean for ID? I thought they were just numbers,
0-9. Also what is BlueDV? Is that another APRS software?

There are actually meanings for all the SSID's. Normally, 10 is for
an internet station (no RF), and G is what BlueDV uses. That program,
created by David, PA7LIM (who also created the Peanut app), allows
access for D-Star, DMR, Fusion, NXDN, and APRS. The APRS messages are
limited to 40 characters or less.

The BlueDV program will work with either a ThumbDV USB stick from
Northwest Digital Radio, or a DV Mega Stick 30 from Gigaparts. However,
both of these are out of stock at the moment. They're both between $100
and $120 in price...not bad, considering the Shark RF Open Spot 4 Pro
and the Shark RF M1KE (I have one of each) run from $300 to $500,
respectively. But, the Shark RF products work with Wi-Fi, and with
    your smartphone, or computer.

There is a naturist amateur radio club in Austin, Texas...
with the callsign of NU5DE. Their QSL card is "Tastefully Done",
but I'm not sure I want to see their ATV images (hi hi).
